About the Society
Who We Are
ARROWHEAD WILDLIFE SOCIETY was founded in 1996 by
friends living in Arrowhead Canyon near Pine, Arizona. As
a community, our goal was to protect the peace, quiet and
solitude and to respect this very special environment in
which we live. With that in mind, and with the combined
time, talents and knowledge of each friend, we expanded
our goals to support educational projects, partner with
organizations and provide community projects and programs.
One volunteer project led to many. To formalize this collection
of concerned citizens, Arrowhead Wildlife Society was organized
under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code to
become an official not-for-profit corporation!
